A new mobility solution to/from Brussels South Charleroi Airport: launches Door2Gate

Charleroi, 19 November 2019 – launches a new way to get to Brussels South Charleroi Airport. The goal of Door2Gate, a shared mobility solution, is to take travellers from their home to the airport in a more personal way. In a comfortable vehicle, along with other users, passengers will be taken from their front door to BSCA. Available for residents of the Brussels-Capital region, its outskirts and Walloon Brabant as far as Hainaut, this service is charged on a sliding scale depending on the number of travellers.

Brussels Midi–Brussels South Charleroi Airport link: and Voyages Léonard test a fully electric coach

Charleroi, 31 October 2019 –, a company specialising in airport transfers, is joining forces with Voyages Léonard to test a fully electric bus on its Brussels–Charleroi line all this week (27 October to 2 November 2019). It is the first time in Europe that this kind of vehicle has been used within the aviation industry. By switching to electric coaches, the two companies are hoping to reduce their CO2 emissions by 127 tonnes/year per vehicle, making journeys to and from Brussels South Charleroi Airport much greener.

New Lines towards Breda & Maastricht, will be starting two new regular coach lines on 2 July 2019: One line: Breda-Antwerp-Charleroi and another: Maastricht-Liège-Charleroi with departures approximately every two hours and prices starting at 5 Euros. These two lines will extend the network, which already offers frequent connections between the airport and Brussels, Ghent, Bruges, Lille, Namur, Marche, Arlon and Luxembourg.
